Company  PIZARRAS Y DERIVADOS is a family run business based in Spain, specialised in the supplying of natural roofing slate and flooring. It is now the third generation since we are involved in the slate industry which gives us a great experience and knowledge in this field. PIZARRAS Y DERIVADOS slates are produced out of the finest deposits and is surely the ideal specification for your pitched roof requirements or flooring. Once the slates are produced, they are freight by land or by sea to more than 12 countries around the world, thanks to a very agile and efficient transport organisation. Historical MICHEL BERNARD  1.913 – 1.986 In the year 1938, my grandfather Michel BERNARD, created a roofing company in the Britain city of Quimper, France. Rapidly, thanks to its hard work and devotion, the company grew up constantly and gain the best reputation in the all area. The most exacting customers as the most technical jobs to do were the best challenges for him. The BERNARD company was suported by the French Agency of Culture for the national patrimony preservation and restoration. MARIE LOUISE BERNARD AND MIGUEL LASHERAS After several years spent in the architecture field, my father Miguel LASHERAS and my mother Marie Louise BERNARD, took the management of my grandfather’s company : The BERNARD Company. In 1976, my father set up a slate Import-Export Company A few years later, in 1992, comes the opportunity for our family business to take a turn investing at production in one of the most representative roofing slate manufacture in Spain. Since then, the head office of our company was established in Spain. NATHANAEL LASHERAS BERNARD In 1993, after graduating in a school of commerce, I started to work in the family business as a sales director. Later, the other function that was conferred to me was the organization of the different markets in which the company exports to. In 2007 I was given the management of the family Company PIZARRAS Y DERIVADOS S.L.
